Focus on the positive

Art Mortell is quoted as saying "People are remembered in life not for how few times they fail, but for how often they succeed."

Remember that, in baseball, a batter who does not get a hit 7 times of 10 is considered a success. That means he hit for a .300 average. Babe Ruth set records for striking out, but he is most remembered for hitting home runs. Thomas Alva Edison once boasted that he knew 1000 ways of creating an electric light bulb that did not work - before he changed the world as we know it.
